His current responsibilities focus on teaching youth skills that will not only keep them out of the juvenile justice system but also enable them to pursue a successful future. Many youth struggle due to trauma and ongoing toxic stress. In response Lee coordinates a life skills class once a quarter for youth and their parents. He is also responsible for the Education and Employment Training program that teaches job readiness skills to probation teens and assists them in getting entry level jobs.
Lee’s greatest desire is to provide skills and connections to services to youth prior to getting involved in the justice system. In March of 2022 with the help of other youth serving agencies he began the development of a Mentorship program. This program which launched in June 0f 2023 connects positive, prosocial adults with youth who lack support at home and in the community. Lee’s passion is to continue to pursue development of other prevention programs impacting the youth and their families in our community.

One of her passions is to help underprivileged youth in the community. In addition to serving youth and families, a future goal is to become a Juvenile Defense attorney to represent youth in the criminal justice system, work with the Innocent Project and pursue reforming the foster care system.
Is Legal Assistant and is currently studying her Bachelor's in Behavioral Healthcare at Centralia College. After her sister passed away from suicide at a young age, she grew a passion for helping youth in our community who struggle to feel seen and heard. Having those opportunities to motivate and provide more than just social support to our youth is an important intervention tool that sets the ability to make healthy choices in motion. Kayla strives to educate youth and their families of available resources while setting a positive example focused on commitment to self-development, understanding the value of relationships, and finding meaning in your work.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent behavioral health. She has spent the past seven years working with youth and families in Lewis County to overcome barriers. She has been a youth advocate, case manager, and certified peer counselor. She grew up in Los Angeles and developed a drive to support and help youth. She believes that all youth can succeed with support and healthy motivation. Lisa believes that being the kind of person she needed when she was younger can help youth succeed through positive encouragement, advocacy, education, and resources.
